Afrofuturism

Thanks to Tananarive Due’s speech on YouTube at the 2014 Platform Summit, I think that I have found my tribe.  Afrofuturism is—as best described By Rahkyt/Mark Rockeymoore at Afrofuturism.net as “a movement represented by black authors, academics, Hip Hop headz and performers alike, all sharing a similar fascination with futuristic themes and expressions of modern societal tropes under the guise of the fantastic.”
